George Ultsch, 72, 2117 Fairbanks Street, died at his home Sunday after a short illness.

Mr. Ultsch was born March 12, 1875, at Erie, Pa. He resided at Mapleton, Iowa for some time before moving to Sioux City about 20 years ago.

Survivors are the widow Elizabeth; a son, William of Houston, Tex., three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Davis and Mrs. James Castle, both of Castana, Iowa and Mrs. Marie Mock of Sioux City; a brother Nicholas Ultsch of Mapleton; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schnier of Mapleton; a half-sister, Mrs. Anna Hair in Nebraska, 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Larkin Funeral Home.
