Richard W. Uhl age 85, of Pickerington, OH passed on April 28, 2016 at his residence.

He was born October 27, 1930 in Mapleton, IA to the late Jesse and Eleanor Uhl.

Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Continental Can Company for 38 years. Richard enjoyed chaperoning the marching band, working crossword puzzles and bowling.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three brothers, Howard, Clyde and Paul; and three sisters, Carol, Darlene and Joy.

Survivors include his loving wife, F. Jane Uhl; daughter, Sherri J. Stephens; granddaughter, Amy M. Conley; two grandsons, Mark R. Stephens and Seth R. Stephens; two great grandsons, Jacob and Ryan Conley; two brothers, Lawrence and Gary; and three sisters, Kathryn, Lucille and Phyllis.

A Memorial Mass officiated by Fr. James Klima will begin at 10:30am on Friday, May 6, at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147.
