He was an avid fisherman taking trips to places such as Canadian Lakes, New York Finger Lakes, Minnesota Boundary Waters, Lake Erie, and Kentucky Lake.

Dick and Carol owned a vacation home on Indian Lake for 21 years. While there they were members of the Holiday Shores Property Owners Association and Indian Lake Development Corporation, of which Dick served as President of both organizations. Dick and Carol enjoyed traveling and visited every state, with the exception of Florida, and vacationed in the Phoenix, AZ area for several years following both of their retirements.

He was also blessed with many cousins, Carol’s relatives, and numerous good friends that he enjoyed.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Ingram Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11 am Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Schlueter officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery where he will receive full military honors.
