Services Held For Roy McCue

Roy E. McCue, 64, died Saturday at the Onawa hospital, after suffering a heart attack earlier at his farm home near Moorhead. Mr. McCue was born September 7, 1893, at Blencoe and had been a resident of Monona County all his life. He was a veteran of World War I and a charter member of Pisgah Post 408, American Legion. He married Hazel Hunt August 9, 1917, at Omaha.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Clayton of Little Sioux; three daughters, Mrs. Naomi Keele of Shenandoah, Mrs. Eunice Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Hazel A. Wallis of Little Sioux; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church at Moorhead, with Elder Lyle Davis of Soldier officiating. Burial was in the Moorhead cemetery under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa. Military rites were conducted at the graveside by the Pisgah and Moorhead American Legion post
