10 September 2003OMAHA, Neb. -- Glen F. Redmond, 83, of Omaha died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, in Omaha.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gretna United Methodist Church in Gretna, Neb. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, Albaton, Iowa. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary in Papillion, Neb.
Glen was born April 1, 1920, in Fairfax, S.D., the son of Leo and Metilda (Brenden) Redmond.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Doreen Redmond and Steve Palmerton of Norman, Okla.; a granddaughter, Chelsey Palmerton of Norman, Okla.; two brothers, Gale and his wife, EvaDean, of Sloan, Iowa, and Marvin of Castana, Iowa; a sister, Vivian Livermont of Rapid City, S.D.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leland, Raymond and Lowell; and a sister, Helen Carlson.
Memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans or Gretna United Methodist Church.
