Jack A. Hall, 91, Onawa, Iowa passed away Wednesday December 1, 2004 at a Sioux City hospital.

Jack Archer Hall was born November 11, 1913 at Missouri Valley, Iowa, the son of John Earl and Katherine May (South) Hall. He joined the United States Army Air Corp August 5, 1942 and served in the European - African - Middle Eastern Theater during World War II. He was discharged December 22, 1945.

He farmed and worked for Doug Hanson Cattle for many years. He married Evelyn (Thomsen) Gray March 3, 1958.

Survivors include a sister, Dons Atwell of Whiting, IA; a brother, Joy Hall of Onawa; seven step-children, Opal Babcock of Flushing, MI, Dale and his wife Nancy Gray of Gardendale, TX, Betty and her husband Joe Ford of Melbourne, FL, Peggy and her husband Leo Murphy of Surprise, AZ, Harold and his wife Vicki Gray of Onawa, Gen and her husband Larry Noble of Dickinson, TX and Vicki and her husband Larry DeLance of Onawa and several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evelyn and a brother, Donald.

A memorial graveside service was 10:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Brian Kinney officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa.
