8 September 1932J. M. ELLIOTT DIES IN ST. LOUIS
Word has been received in Onawa of the passing of J. M. Elliott at the home of his daughter in St. Louis on September 1st. Mr. Elliott for almost ten years served Monona county as clerk of the district court.
The body was shipped to Los Angeles where the funeral was held on September 5th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G. A. Wirch and interment was made there where Mrs. Elliott is buried. Mr. Elliott has many friends here who will be grieved to learn of his death.
