Conrad A. Johnson was born Sept. 18th 1904. He was born and lived all his life near Castana. He was the youngest son of Mr. and A. P. John son, an old and honorably pioneer family of Monona county. He was married to Florence Miller of Moun' Ayr, lowa in 1928.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, his aged father of Turin, four brothers: Dr. Johnson of Newton, lowa, S. E. Johnson and Olaf Johnson of Moorhead, la. and K. G. Johnson of Hornick and four sisters, Mrs. Leigh of Storm Lake, la., Mrs. Chris Peterson of Turin, Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Greenstreet of Castana. Among the others who survive are 11 nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held at Castana Sunday afternoon
