Tiffany Evelyn Grant, 18, of Kingston, Washington, formerly of Onawa, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, in Kingston.

Tiffany was born on October 12, 1980, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Jilanne (Hopkins) Grant. She attended Kingston Jr. High, North Kitsap High School and Spectrum Schools in Kingston, Washington. Tiffany enjoyed fun with friends, her car and the mall.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Jilanne and Daniel Lyda of Kingston, Washington; her father and stepmother, Donald and Rebecca Grant of rural Turin, Iowa; 1 brother, Dane of Kingston; step-brother, Luke Shook and step-sister, Miranda Shook, both of rural Turin; maternal grandparents, Jim and Jeri Hopkins of Onawa; paternal grandparents, Gerald "Lefty" and Evelyn Grant of Mapleton; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Gerald Grant, Jr., and a cousin, Mark Kinney.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 1999, at the First Christian Church in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Donald R. Ludwick officiating.

The pianist was Sara Jones. Taped music selections were "Wild Flower" by Tom Petty and "I'll Be Missing You" by Puff Daddy.

Honorary Bearers were Harold Grant and Steve Wessling.

Casket Bearers were Dane Grant, John Grant, Melvin Grant, Luke Shook, James Kinney, and James Kinney, Jr.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery at Onawa, Iowa, with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.

A Memorial Fund in the name of Tiffany Grant has been established at the Mercantile Bank at Onawa.
