Leon A. Weifenbach, Sr. died August 4, 1999 at Little Sioux, Iowa.

Leon Alfred Weifenbach was born February 21, 1945 at Sioux City, Iowa, the son of Alfred and Annabelle (Newman) Weifenbach. The family moved to Rialto, California where they lived for 21 years. Leon worked at Riverside Cement Company. The family moved back to Little Sioux, Iowa in September of 1978.

Those survivors left to cherish Leon's memory include his parents, Alfred and Annabelle Weifenbach of Little Sioux, Iowa and two sons, Leon Weifenbach, Jr. and his wife, Terri and Shane Weifenbach and his wife, Sonja, all of Missouri Valley, Iowa and five grandchildren along with other relatives, neighbors and good friends.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, August 7, 1999. 11:00 a.m. at Armstrong Chapel in Mapleton, Iowa. Pastor Karen Handke, officiating.

Interment was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, Iowa
