Margaret Mahela Wooster, 44, died July 21. She was born Oct. 28, 1969, at Onawa, the daughter of Wayne and Joan (Barnes) Ohlmeier. She received her education at the Charter Oak-Ute School.

In 1986, she married Greg Erlemeier. They had a son, Derek Erlemeier. They lived in the Soldier and Ute area until the divorce in 1996.

Margaret then met the love of her life, John David Wooster, Jr., and moved to Denison until 1998. They moved to Napa, Idaho, and she began her career as a beef grader. Margaret and John moved to Aiken, S.C., where she continued in the career she grew to love as a beef grader.

On Sept. 10, 2010, John and Margaret were united in marriage in Aiken where they had continued to reside.

Margaret was an extremely gifted self-taught artist, especially with oil paints and charcoal designs. She created a stunning self-portrait by simply studying her reflection in the mirror, along with many other treasured landscape pieces that she shared with family and friends. Margaret loved all kinds of music and expressing that passion by singing along and dancing when the moment felt right. She especially loved the songs performed by one of her favorite musical artists, Patsy Cline.

Along with appreciating many country songs, Margaret enjoyed wearing her cowboy attire, right down to the hat and boots, and wore it with style. She was extremely photogenic with a smile that lit up the room. If you met Margaret, she was your friend. She learned to enjoy time spent fishing with a few of her own fishing stories to share. She also had a little bit of an ornery side that she could use to create a good time in almost any situation. She was just plain fun to be around. Above all, she loved her family and seriously loved LIFE!

Margaret leaves behind so many that will miss her very deeply. Those include her beloved husband, John; her son, Derek Erlemeier of Waverly; her step-children, Brenda Mace and her husband, Greg, of Kiron, Jill Wooster of Sioux City, Amy Gideon and her husband, Gary, of Columbus, Kan., and Mike Wooster and his wife, Melissa, of Mapleton; 10 grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Christopher, Emily, Allison, Hanna, Haddie, Paige, Ava, and Brynnan; her parents, Wayne and Joan Ohlmeier of Ute; three siblings, brother Michael Ohlmeier and his wife, Jane, of Ricketts, sister Tammy Bramley and her husband, Lyle of Ute, and brother Todd Ohlmeier of Hamberg; six sisters-in-law, Marcia Pegram and her husband, Tony, Rilda Aunspach and her husband, Randy, Rita Duncan and her husband, Bill, Deedee Snead and her husband, David, Judy Baldwin, and Jean Gries; three bothers-in-law, Ivan Wooster and his wife, Susie, Vinton Wooster and his wife, Theresa, and Bill Schneekloth and his wife, Freda; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and an enormous group of good friends.
