Tomas Edward Quigley, son of George D. and Susan C. Quigley, was born in Mills County, Iowa, on March 10, 1879, and passed from this life at the Onawa hospital on October 28, 1959. Death came at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 18 days. He had been a farmer all his life.

Eddie was a longtime resident of this area. At the time of his death, he was residing at the home of his brother, George A. Quigley. He was a member of the Turin Methodist Church.

Survivors include four brothers, Albert F. of Walla Walla, Washington, Alvin D. of Concord, Calif., Paul L. and George A. of Turin and a sister, Mrs. Grace Carroll of Meadow Grove, Nebr.

He also leaves to mourn a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mrs. Ida Thompson and one brother, Chester C. Quigley.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31st at the Methodist Church in Turin. Rev. Paul R. Johnson conducted the services. Mrs. Orland Ferris sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Precious Memories" accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Oliver Kelley.

Casket bearers were John Wagner, Charles Kratz, Cleo Willis, Wolford Anderson, Elof Johnson and Richard Madsen.

Interment was in the Belvidere cemetery with arrangements by the Pearson funeral home.
