Ryan Thomas Struble, 21, of Turin, Iowa, died Thursday, June 12, 1997, at Marian Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa, as the result of a vehicle accident near Turin.

Ryan was born September 6, 1975, at Onawa, Iowa, the son of Tom and Marilyn (Clemon) Struble. In 1994, he graduated from West Monona High School in Onawa, Iowa, and studied Diesel Mechanics at John Deere Ag Tech School in Milford, Nebraska. He was a farmer, custom hay baler, and diesel mechanic. He worked for Schroder Services and Arcola Repair.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Marilyn Struble of Turin, a brother, Nick and a sister, Becky, both at home; his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Beverly Struble of Turin and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Clemon of Onawa; uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Myrland Clemon and a cousin, Kurt Bradley DeKeyser.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 16, 1997, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Onawa, Iowa, with Rev. Steven C. Hetzel officiating. The pianist was Mrs. Syril Brown. The soloist, Mrs. Jamie Sorensen, was accompanied by Mrs. Daryle Lauritsen and sang the selections, "If You Could See Me Now", "The Dance", and "Friends".

Honorary Bearers were Chris Collison, Jason Anson, Wesley Anderson, Chris Miller, Jason Winegar, Rodney Jones, Brandon Bellis, Chad Heistad, and Jason Wiggs.

Casket Bearers were Steve Bottorff, Scott Carrier, Rob Collision, Matt Mathison, Jesse Mathison, and Matt Bonine.

Interment was in the Belvidere Cemetery, Turin, Iowa, with arrangement by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
