Obituary of Dale E. Kron

Dale E. Kron, 59, of Whiting, Iowa, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.

Dale was born June 16,1939, at Whiting, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Beulah Grace (Anderson). He graduated from Whiting High School in 1958. In September 1961, he married Joan Ibsogaard at Mapleton, Iowa. He worked at the Whiting Elevator and from 1970 - 1981, he worked at Payless Cashway in Sioux City.

Survivors include 1 son and his wife, Bryan and Vicki of Whiting; 2 daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Tom Rich and Barbi and Kirk Ethier, all of Whiting; 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Andrew, Alexandra, Abbigail, Austin, and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 stepbrothers, Darrell "Red" Kron and Merle Kron. -
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 26, 1999, at Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Thomas Rich, Sr. officiating.

The organist, Mrs. Don MacClure, played the selection, "Amazing Grace". Tape selections were "My Heart Will Go On" and "Angels Among Us".

Honorary Bearers were Donnie Anderson, Howard Miller, Paul Hightree, Jules Fegenbush, and Archie Stubblefield.

Casket Bearers were Thomas Rich, Jr.; Ronnie Heck,
Kirk Ethier, Larry Teel, Leon Henkel, and Maurice Brenden. Interment was in Harrison Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
