Funeral services for Hans Solien, 76, who died Monday at Goodwater, Sask., Can., will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday in the Albaton, Ia., Lutheran church. Rev. Mr. Nelson of Onawa will officiate. Burial will be in the Albaton cemetery.

Mr. Solien was born May 27, 1869, in Vardal, Norway, and came to America with his parents in 1880. He located between Sloan and Albaton. In 1921, with his son, Lloyd, and brother, Halden, he moved to Goodwater.

He was married March 28, 1893, at Albaton and was a member of the Albaton Lutheran church.

Surviving besides the son Lloyd and the brother Halden, both of Goodwater, are a brother, Ole Solien of Sioux City; two sisters, Hulda Solien, of Sioux City, and Mrs. Clara Christenson of Crosby, N. D., and several nieces and nephews.
His wife died in 1898.
