Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Christian church at Whiting, Ia., for Derk Albert Boston, 43, Whiting, who died of a heart attack Thursday when unloading stone from a boxcar on a siding at a quarry near Salix, Ia.

Burial in a Whiting cemetery was directed by the McVey funeral home.

Dr. J. M. Krigsten, county coroner, said exertion in the sun probably aggravated a heart ailment, causing the man's death. Dr. Krigsten performed an autopsy.

Mr. Boston, a World war veteran, was born at Sheldon, Ia., November 6, 1894. He had lived at Whiting 14 years.

Survivors include the widow, and 5 children, all of Whiting, 2 brothers, Henry J. of Sioux City, and William of Sloan, and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Roberts of Marcus
