Former Whiting Lady Passed Away in Arizona February 17th

Lena Belle Utterback, longtime resident of Whiting passed away on February 17, 1959, at the home of her son, Dwight E. Utterback at Scottsdale, Arizona, after an illness of Several months.

She was born at Malvern, Ia., on May 31, 1875. Her parents moved to Monona, County in 1885, where she lived until 1950 when she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1895 she was married to Oliver H. Utterback who died October 31, 1943.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. E. Castle of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mrs. K. E. Wallach of Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Ray W. Utterback of Albany, Oregon and Dwight E. Utterback of Scottsdale, Arizona, and a sister, Mrs. H. C. Colvin of Yucaipa, Calif. There are three grandchildren, Robert L. Castle of Phoenix, Arizona, Wayne Utterback of El Monte, Calif., and Bruce Utterback of Mapleton and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at ten o'clock on Friday, February 20, at Paradise Chapel, Phoenix, Ariz.
