Leonard T. Uhl, 73, 1124 27th St., died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 1989, at his residence after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery at Moville, Iowa. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. today with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mr. Uhl was born Dec. 2, 1916, in Mapleton, Iowa. He married Lucille K. Boggs Jan. 2, 1970, in Dakota City. He farmed in the Mapleton area all his life until retiring to Sioux City in 1975.

Mr. Uhl was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; three stepsons, Duane E Lau of Correctionville, Iowa, Danny Ray Boggs of Carnation, Wash., and Donald M. Boggs of Sioux City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Richard (DeAune) Pixler and Mrs. Loren (Delores) Horsley, both of Sioux City; two brothers, Orville of Sioux City and Melvin of Onawa, Iowa; 12 step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Ruby Anderson.

A memorial has been established in his, name with Hospice of Siouxland.
