29 March 2002Ruth V. Kee, 80, of Sioux City died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Harvest Westside Nursing and Rehab Center.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Leo Kostizen officiating. Burial will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Ute, Iowa. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Miss Kee was born Dec. 8, 1921, in Ute, the daughter of William A. and Anna Mae (Hieber) Kee.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School.
Survivors include six brothers, Gene Kee and his wife, Mary, of Omaha, Norman Kee and his wife, Edna, of St. Louis, Mo., Loyal Kee of Wayne, Neb., Loren Lee and his wife, Janice, of Tucson, Ariz., Gary Kee and his wife, Lorna, of Minneapolis, and John Kee and his wife, Gerry, of Minneapolis; five sisters, Mildred Loots and her husband, Adolph, of Rose Creek, Minn., Maxine Jones and her husband, Don, of Sioux City, Bea Hammer of Lincoln, Neb., Ann Steinbrueck and her husband, Carl, of St. Louis, Mo., and Marlene Peck and her husband, Ron, of Arvada, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Kee; and two sisters, Luella in infancy and Helen Wrest.
Pallbearers will be Leon Johnson, Ronald Peck, Bill Kee, James Kee, Gerald Kee and Glenn Kee.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran School.
