Mrs. Adeline Breed of Onawa Dies; Rites Thursday Afternoon

Onawa, Ia.-Special: Mrs. Adeline M. Breed, 84, a resident of Onawa for the last 21 years, died Sunday at Soldier, Kan., where she had been on a visit with her daughter. Mrs. Breed had suffered a hip injury about a month ago.

She was born April 17, 1862, at Centralia, Kan.

Survivors are five daughters, Miss Olive Breed of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Mabel Whisler of Soldier, Mrs. Ethel Cook of San Diego, Cal., Mrs. Ruth Chacey of Santa Ana, Cal., and Mrs. Merle Bailey of Onawa; two sons, Elmer of Manhattan, Kan., and James of Onawa; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Pearson funeral home at Onawa. Rev. Harry Travis will officiate. Burial will be in Belvidere cemetery at Turin, Ia.
