E. J. CUNNINGHAM, LIFELONG MONONA RESIDENT, DIES

Onawa, Ia.—Special: Edward James Cunningham, 60, a lifelong resident of Monona county, died Monday. He had been a resident of Onawa for 12 years.

Survivors include his widow, Maude of Onawa; one daughter,Lois of Omaha; three sons, William of Coleridge, Neb., Pfc. Ernest, now in the army, and Walter, in Hawaii; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Downing and Mrs. Anna Downing, both of Ute; Mrs. Edith Selander of Omaha, and Mrs. Ethel Shadduck of Long Beach, Cal., and three brothers, Roy of Ute, Clarence of Wahoo, Neb., and Charles of Long Beach, Cal.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Pearson funeral chapel in Onawa. Burial will be in the Ute cemetery.
