IRENE PEARSON

Irene Pearson, 72, Ojai, Calif. died Wednesday, July 8, 1987 in a Ventura Calif. hospital.

Irene, the only daughter of Justin and Elizabeth Keitges of Onawa, was born December 2, 1914 in Pierson, Iowa. She has been a resident of Ojai for 38 years, coming from Onawa, Iowa.

She retired in 1986 as owner and manager of Barbara Jean’s Beauty Salon in Mira Monte. She was a member of the Altar Society of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ojai.

She is survived by sons, Dick of Valencia, Calif. and Bob of Ojai, Calif.; daughters, Barbara and Joan Pearson of Ojai, Calif.; brothers, Francis Keitges of Sioux City and Gene Keitges of Camp Nelson, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Edward and daughter, Rita.

Rosary was recited at Clausen Funeral Home in Ojai and Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial followed in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, Calif.
