MICKEY ALLEN PRATT

Mickey Allen Pratt, age 28, was lost in an avalanche on Mt. Farakar, Alaska, on May 5th or 6th, 1987. Also presumed dead were Mick’s climbing partner, Dan Daugherty and two Canadian climbers.

Mickey was the son of Glen and Trudy Pratt, 7178 S. Lincoln Way, Littleton, Colo. Glen was a former Sloan resident.

Mickey was born in Sioux Falls, S.D., and lived in Denver most of his life. He served in the Army three years and had been employed in Alaska for the last three years. On a solo climb in Jun 1986, he made it to the top of Mt. McKinley.

He is survived by his parents and two sisters, Sherri Pratt of Berthoud, Colo. and Karen Johnson of Englewood, Colo.

Memorial services were held in Anchorage, Alaska and Littleton, Colo.
