HELEN MARGURITE ROGGE

Helen Margurite Rogge, Wayne, Nebraska, died on June 23, 1987, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa, after a brief illness.

She was born December 31, 1908, at Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Minnie (Dehn) Dinwiddie. She graduated from Onawa High School in 1927. On July 30, 1927, she was united in marriage to Paul Rogge in Iowa. The couple moved to Wayne in 1930.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Wayne.

Helen is survived by her husband, Paul Rogge, of Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Colleen) Burgess, of Green Bay, Wisc. and Mrs. Jeane Wallick, of Casselberry, Fla.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Lowell Dinwiddie, of Onawa, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Armstrong, of Onawa and Mrs. Peg DeWeese, of Olathe, Kans.; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bill; and one sister, Millie.

Services were held at the United Presbyterian Church at Wayne on Friday, June 26, 1987, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Mitchell officiating. Mrs. Jay O’Leary, the organist, played the selections “How Great Thou Art” and “Goin’ Home”.

Pallbearers were Bill Kugler, Bruce Wallick, Jim Goad, Ed Wallick, Jim Keating and Jim Thomas.

Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery at Wayne.
