22 September 2013MOORHEAD, Iowa | Edgar Clair Neal, 104, of Jackson, Mich., formerly of Moorhead, passed away Aug. 30, 2013.
Services will be Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Jackson. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetherby Funeral Home in Jackson.
Clair was a member of First Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was a life member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Society, IEEE, and National and Michigan Society of Professional Engineers. He was employed at Consumers Power and Commonwealth Associates.
Clair is survived by a daughter, Maryesah Karelon of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a sister, Enid Petersen of Anthon, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Maxine F. (Frick) Neal; and two sisters, Louise Thorson of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Lucille Mugge of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
