SISTER MARY EUNICE FEGENBUSH

Sister Mary Eunice Fegenbush, 79, Farmington Hills, Michigan, a native of Whiting, Iowa, died Thursday in McAuley Center at Farmington Hills.

Sister Fegenbush was born April 23, 1907, at Whiting. She entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1927 at Mount St. Agnes in Dubuque. A graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, she was a primary teacher and taught at Catholic schools in Iowa and Michigan. After retiring, she lived at Dubuque for several years before moving to Farmington Hills three years ago.

Survivors include four sisters, Frances Miller and Emagene Poskevich, both of Sioux City, Alyce Atmore of Whiting and Maxine Hammer of Santa Ana, Calif.; and a brother, William Fegenbush of Neptune Beach, Fla.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Mercy Center Chapel at Farmington Hills. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at Southfield, Mich.
