12 October 1904Death of a Monona Pioneer
Onawa, Ia., Oct. 11.—Special: Edward Prypard, One of the pioneers of Monona county, died at his home in Ticonic this afternoon, aged 82 years.
Mr. Prypard settled on a farm there in 1866 and has lived on the same farm since. He was the father of J. A. Prypard, republican county chairman, and an honest and, worthy citizen.
