Bud Zediker Is Taken By Death

Funeral Services Held in Los Angeles Thursday For Former Resident

Lawrence (Bud) Zediker, 47-year old former Mapleton resident, died Sunday of heart trouble in his home in Los Angeles, Cat., where he was employed by a furniture manufacturing company.

He was horn in Mapleton and resided here until about 20 years ago when he moved to Los Angeles. He was well known in this territory as a pitcher for Mapleton baseball teams and the House of David team.

Surviving are his widow and 2 sons In Los Angeles. 3 brothers, Racy and Grant of Mapleton and George of Schaller, until recently of Mapleton, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Charles Smith of Odebolt, Mrs. Bert Marsh of Fulton, Minn., and Mrs. Allie Hale of Alberta, Canada.

He was a cousin of W. L. Zediker and Roy Zediker of Mapleton.

Funeral services and burial were held Thursday In Los Angeles. His brothers, 1 sister, Mrs. Smith, and Maurice Zediker of Mapleton, a nephew, attended the
