GARRY LEE MILLER

Garry Lee Miller, 40, 1211 19th St., Sioux City, Iowa, died January 21, 1987, in a Sioux City hospital of injuries suffered when struck by a car, January 7, in Sioux City.

Mr. Miller was born February 7, 1946, on a farm near Mapleton, Iowa, and came to Sioux City from Onawa in 1960. He graduated from the ninth grade Special Education at Woodrow Wilson Junior High School and finished his education in Kansas City, Mo. He worked for the Goodwill Industries for a number of years and later was a self-employed handyman.

Mr. Miller was a Lutheran.

Survivors include his mother, Edna Mae Rosendahl of Sioux City; his father, Clarence M. Miller of Whiting; two brothers, MCPO Lawrence E. Miller with the U. S. Navy in Memphis, Tenn., and Randy E. Miller of Sioux City, a foster brother, Darwin L. Petersen of Honolulu, Hawaii; a half-brother, Norman R. Rosendahl of Sioux City and two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Shirley) Remar of Thornton, Colo., and Judy Godfrey of Sioux City.

Services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 1987, in the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. A. T. Washington, retired minister, officiated. Burial was Monday in Logan Park Cemetery.
