George Moad, Old Settler, Is Dead

Casper Uhl, Sr., received a telegram Tuesday morning announcing the death of George Moad, living near Platte. S. D., According to the message, Mr. Moad died suddenly.

Mr. Moad was an old settler of Monona county He lived near Mapleton before going to Platte 25 years ago. Funeral services will be held in Mapleton Friday at 1 o'clock at the Methodist church.
