The deceased had been ailing for some time previous, but with no serious signs apparent, until a few hours before her death, when a change took place, and she gradually passed away. She was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances, all of whom manifested tender regard for her throughout her illness.
Funeral services were held at the Dean School house on Sunday afternoon last, being conducted by Rev. H. P. Dudley. A large number of Mrs. Miller’s old friends and neighbor were present, and escorted the remains to the cemetery.
Four little ones, the youngest a babe about two weeks old, survive the decease.
A delegation from Maple Valley Lodge, I. O.O.F. was also in attendance, and assisted by brotherly offices, in caring for the loved remains of the departed wife of a worthy brother.May God, in his goodness, care for the little ones so suddenly brief , and help to smooth the way of him whose heart is sad and heavy from the loss of a loving companion.
