Buried in Cemetery Here Thursday AfternoonFuneral services for Alfred L. Lee, 60-year-old Sioux City resident and a son- in- law of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Pauley and a brother of Mrs. A. L. Pauley of Mapleton, who passed away Tuesday morning in his home following a three month’s illness, were held Thursday afternoon in Sioux City.
Interment was in Heisler cemetery in Mapleton under the direction of the Rutledge Mortuary of Sioux City.
Mr. Lee was born here March 30, 1890. He attended the Mapleton School and grew to manhood here. He was married to Miss Hazel Pauley and they made their home here a short time before moving to Sioux City in 1912.
He worked continuously for The Sioux City Brick and Tile Company since he went to Sioux City. He was a member of the Odd Fellow lodge.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Darrell and Robert his mother, Mrs. Alfrette Lee, four brothers, Floyd, Theodore, Wayne and Charles all of Sioux City, and four sisters. Mrs. V C. Simpson of Chicago, Mrs. Pauley of Mapleton, and Mrs. Marie Lowry and Mrs. Pearl Eagles of Sioux City
