MRS. PRICE HAWLEY DIES SUDDENLY

Although An Invalid For Years Death Came Unexpectedly

Mrs. Price Hawley, for thirty-three years a resident of Mapleton died suddenly at her home on Third Street last Friday morning.

Although an invalid from rheumatism almost since first attacked 19 years ago, Mrs. Hawley was as well as usual until Friday morning when she became worse and expired at eleven-thirty o'clock.

Arminta A. Dowd was born in Miami County, Indiana, Aug. 12, 1846.When fifteen years old; she with her parents came to Mapleton. In 1869 she was married to Price Hawley.

She leaves to mourn her demise her husband, Price Hawley, a daughter, Mrs. Florence Wilson, two sisters, Mrs. Roby McCleery and Mrs. Maria Lee, one brother, Hartwell Dowd of Alva, Oklahoma, who about two weeks ago concluded a six weeks visit here and left for his home; and three grandchildren.

The funeral services were held at the St John's Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.

Rev. M D. Hush preached the funeral sermon after which interment was made in the Heisler cemetery.
