2 June 1932Mrs. Millie Berry To Be Buried Here Today
Mrs. Millie H Berry, 63 year old, a former Mapleton resident, died Tuesday i n St. Vincent's hospital in Sioux City following an operation. During the last several years she has made her home with her brother, J. A. Comer in Sioux City.
Funeral services will be held here this afternoon at 2: 30 o ' clock in the Methodist church with Rev C. H. Van Metre officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Mrs. Berry was born in Belle Plaine, Ia., July 2, 1870. She resided in Mapleton from 1910 to 1925. Her husband was in the garage business here. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor Camp hero, having recently transferred her membership to Sioux City.
Survivors include her widower, Bert Berry, a son, D. R. Houchins, of Oto, a sister, Mrs. Bessie Dixon of Sioux City, and her brother, J A. Comer.
