Glenn Miller Dies At Castana March 16

Glenn E. Miller, age 70, died March 16, a t his home n e a r Castana.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 19 at the Ticonic Methodist church and burial was in the Grant Cemetery near Ticonic. The Willman funeral home of Rodney had charge of services.

Mr. Miller was born Jan. 24, 1898, near Hornick. He married Lavina Woodward September 15, 1932. He farmed in Monona county most of his life.

Survivors include the widow: two daughters, Mrs. Jana McDonald and Miss Norma Miller both of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Nickolisen of Onawa; two grandsons, his daughter, Norma, was at one time a school librarian at the Maple Valley school.
