Mrs. Jane Marie Janssen was born June 25, 1946 at Mapleton and died Sunday night, October 10, 1971 in a car accident east of Anthon. She had reached the age of 25.

Mrs. Janssen was the former Jane Marie Kelsheimer. She graduated from the Anthon High School in 1954. Mrs. Janssen had been living with her sister in Quimby.

Survivors include the widower, Dennis, a son, Gary of Quimby; her mother, Mrs. Emil (Jane) Meyer of Anthon: a sister, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Brock of Quimby and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Augusta Hinrickson of Battle Creek.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 1971 at the Willman Funeral Home at Rodney.
