12 March 1992Morris Shull Heisler, 83, Onawa, Iowa, died on March 6, 1992, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
He was born October 11, 1908 at Ticonic, the son of John T. and Margaret (Shull) Heisler. He was raised in the Ticonic area and served for three years in the army during World War II. He farmed near Ticonic until his marriage to Frances Jividen on February 9, 1955, at Wisner, Nebraska. The couple moved to Onawa following their marriage. She died on May 26, 1978, at Onawa.
He is survived by three brothers and their wives, Evans and Lulse Heisler and Vernon and Ruth Heisler, all of Sioux City, and Marchmont and Dorothy Heisler of Smithland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Warren and John, and two sisters, Mary Thomson and Margie Heisler.
Memorial Services will be at a later date with interment in Grant Township Cemetery at Rodney with Rev. Louis A. Aitken officiating. Arrangements are by the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa.
