Sylvia (Anderson) Harsh was born November 4, 1910 near Castana, Iowa and died August 19, 1978 at the Onawa hospital having reached the age of 67 years, 9 months, and 15 days.
She was married to Walter Harsh on October 3, 1935 in Dakota City.
Services were held Tuesday, August 22, 1978 at Willman Funeral Home in Rodney. The Rev. Dale Church officiated. Burial was in Grant Township Cemetery.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. John (Betty) Malloy of Park Forest, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. August (Nadean) Meyer of Mapleton; Mrs. Gene (Lena) Parr of Moorhead; Mrs. Alfred (Opel) Downs of Long Beach, California; three brothers, Tom of Missouri Valley; Richard of Whiting; and Allen of Norfolk, Virginia; and two grandchildren.
