Delmer W. Greenstreet was born on March 5, 1900 at Kennebec, Iowa and died on August 17. 1969 at a Onawa hospital after a long illness. He had reached the age of 69 years, five months and 12 days.

He was married to Jennie Bernice Mills on November 18, 1933 at Dakota City, Nebraska. Delmer farmed two miles southeast of Ticonic most of his life.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Loyal of Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, South Dakota; two daughters, Lois Jensen of Mapleton and Margaret Greenstreet of Castana; two step-sons, Raymond Nelson of Mapleton and Harvey Nelson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; six grandsons and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 19, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ticonic Methodist Church with Rev. John Schlosser officiating.

Burial was in the Grant Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Richard Reed, Carl Peterson, Leonard Peterson, William Campbell, Gus Miller and Ralph Davis.
