Joseph J. Mohrhauser

Joseph J. Mohrhauser, 70, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Mapleton, Iowa, died on Thursday, July 17, 1986, in Mesa, Arizona, after a long illness.

Services were held on Tuesday, July 22, 1986, at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings, Minnesota. The Reverend Florion Muggli officiated.

Burial was in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Caturia Funeral Home of Hastings, Minnesota, was in charge.

Joseph Mohrhauser was born on February 8, 1916, in Danbury, Iowa, to John F. and Ann (Hupke) Mohrhauser. He moved to Mapleton, Iowa, with his parents when he was a small boy. He married Hazel Larson. They lived in Skopee, Minnesota, until moving to Mesa, Arizona. Mr. Mohrhauser was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans
of Foreign Wars, and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Darrell of Vermillion, Minnesota; two brothers, Carl of Mapleton, Iowa, and Jeff of Hubbard, Nebraska; five sisters,
Mrs. Louie (Arleen) Hinrickson of Danbury, Iowa, Mrs. Leo (Evelyn) Uhl and Edna Moore of Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Warren (Anna Marie) Streeter of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Joann Mohrhauser of Mapleton, Iowa; and six
grandchildren.
