Woodbury Fair Official Dies
George Mohrhauser of Danbury Was Well Known Farm Leader

Funeral services for George Mohrhauser, 59-year-old pioneer resident of Danbury was held Tuesday morning at 9 30 in St Mary's Catholic Church at Danbury. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

He passed away at his farm home near Danbury Saturday morning.

Mr. Mohrhauser was the former president of the Woodbury county Fair association and had been elected to the board of directors of that group for this year.

He was an officer of the R. E.A. and was an ardent farm bureau worker.

He was born at Danbury 1 June 1885, and was married to Miss. Magdalene Ohlson in 1936.

The honorary pallbearers were the executive board of the Rural Electrification association, of which Mr. Mohrhauser was a member, and Included George Rice of Mapleton, Lloyd Baker of Pierson, Merle Reed of Sloan, G E. Brown of Bronson, Tom Armstrong of Salix. Vern Wendel, Bronson and Rosa Spencer of Moville.

The active pallbearers were John Kemp or Mapleton, Bert Ullrich of Oto,Frank J Wessling, T. A. Reimer, R. J Colbert and Roy Barry of Danbury.

He is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Lou Collins of Mapleton, Mrs. Melvin Titham, Jennie Magdalene and Bernadine of Danbury and 7 sons, George, Jr., Albert, Emmett Bernard, Raymond and Richard of Danbury and Corp. Charles Mohrhauser of Great Falls, Mont., two brothers, John Mohrhauser of Mapleton and Edward Mohrhauser of Battle Creek and a half-brother Joseph Orth of Danbury, one sister, Sister M Christiania of Dubuque, and 25 grandchildren
