Ehlers, Minnie M. Christiansen ~ 1972

Minnie M. Ehlers (nee Minnie Christiansen) came into this life May 12, 1904. The early years of her life were spent in Soldier, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Raymond Ehlers in Canton, S. D. and to this union was born one daughter, Shirlee Kaye. After living and being employed in Onawa, Iowa, she moved to Marshalltown, Iowa, where her daughter was then teaching. In January of this year, Mrs. Ehlers underwent surgery at the Marshalltown Community Hospital East. After recovering, she moved to Dallas, Texas, to live with her daughter. Mrs. Ehlers passed from this life at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas on April 9, 1972. Funeral Services were held April 12 at the Soldier Lutheran Church and interment was at the Soldier Lutheran Cemetery.
