Mrs. Roy Namanny, 62, of Calma, Calif., formerly of Mapleton, died Saturday at a hospital in San Francisco after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Namanny, the former Adeline Anna Christiansen, was born July 24, 1916, near Charter Oak. She was married Sept. 21, 1933, in Nebraska. They farmed in the Mapleton, Smithland and Dunlap communities until moving to California in 1960.

She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Daly.

She was preceded in death by her one son, her mother, one brother and one sister. Her parents names were Ben and Eleanora (Clausen) Christiansen.

Survivors include the widower; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Banks of Mapleton, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) O’Daniel of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Kirk (Becky) Young and Miss Patty, both of Calma; two sons, Dennis of Mapleton and Allan of Sacramento, Calif.,; her father, Ben Christiansen of Mapleton; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Mahala) Meyer of Smithland and Mrs. Lawrence (Marie) Gosch, of Mapleton; two brothers, Elmer of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Robert of Mapleton; four grandchildren and a great grandson.

Services were held June 7, at 11:00 at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church at Mapleton with the Rev. Philip Ritter officiating, and Hazel Bruning, as organist.

Pallbearers were Wayne Gosch, Clark Smith, Mark Christiansen, Don Cassens, Jim Namanny, Curtis Namanny. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Mapleton, under the direction of the Walter Funeral Home, Mapleton.
