18 April 1981Ute, Iowa—Mrs. Wayne Adair, 84, of Ute, died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home, 711 Myrtle. The Rev. David Green, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Adair, the former Bessie Christiansen was born March 27, 1897, near Harlan. She was married May 23, 1928. They moved to Ute in 1962. Mr. Adair died in 1976.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include one son, Roger of Chicago and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Hennings and Miss Ferne Christiansen, both of Sioux City.
