George W. Babb of Cannon Falls, Minn., a former Sioux City resident was killed in an automobile accident near Minneapolis, Saturday, June 29.

Mr. Babb was driving on a highway, when a truck pulled out in front of him. His car collided with the truck, throwing him out and he was run over by another truck and was killed instantly.

Mr. Babb was born April 26, 1927 near Rodney. He lived at Sioux City for a few years. He married Gertrude Finberg at Spokane, Wash., nine years ago.

Funeral services were held at 9.am. Wednesday, July 3 at the Sundreth- Anderson Funeral Home at Minneapolis and at 3 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Clinton, Minn. Burial was at the Clinton cemetery.

Survivors include the widow; four stepsons, Neil, Lee, Johnny and Tommy; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Christy of Sioux City, Mrs. Jessie Roy of Forest Knolls, California, Mrs. Laura Lund of Port Orchard, Wash., and Mrs. Anna Woodward of Grant Center, and a brother, Robert of Sioux City.
