Patricia Ann Allman died December 26, 1996 at Sioux City, Iowa, at the age of 54 years, 10 months.

Patricia was born February 26,1942 at Mapleton, Iowa, the daughter of Fred J. and Elizabeth D. (Alberteen) Stodden. She was raised in the Smithland, Iowa, area graduating with the Smithland High School Class of 1960.

She was united in marriage to Keith Allman June 12, 1960 at the United Methodist Church in Anthon, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Anthon and Oto areas.

Pat was very active in the 4-H Program for 26 years, President of the Subcommittee, Chairman of the record book committee and most recent elected leader of the Grant Go-Getters 4-H Club in the fall of 1996. She was also an active member of the United Methodist Women’s Society and of the United Methodist Women’s Club for many years. She was also past president and active in the Woodbury County Pork Producers and President of the Porkettes for many years. She also did many Pork promotions at the Hy-Vee Food Stores which led to her employment for some 15 years, starting as a bakery wrapper, cake decorator, decorator designer, and recently promoted to Holiday Coordinator.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include; Keith, her husband of 36 years; one daughter and her husband, Kim and Todd Rose of Oto, Iowa; two sons, Kevin Allman of Industry, Ill. and Chris Allman and his fiancée, Sherri Tiefenthaler both of Sioux City, Iowa; her mother, Elizabeth D. Stodden of Mapleton, Iowa; one brother and his wife, Dale and Linda Stodden of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five sisters and their husbands, Joyce and J.W. Ritchie of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Marilyn and Roger Hiadik of Anthon, Iowa, Karen and Arden Larsen of Whiting, Iowa, Dianna and Curtis Havick and Lois and Mike Meyer all of Mapleton, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas and John Allman, Trisha, Brett and Katrina Rose, Zachary Allman and Megan Robe; 22 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred J. Stodden, grandparents, R.J. and Esther Albertsen and A.R. and Cora Stodden and two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 30, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Anthon, Iowa with Pastor Kent Kastler and Pastor Karen Handke officiating. Mary Jo Lyon organist and Myron Armour, soloist delivered the message in music. Pallbearers were Paul Paulsen Jr., Walter Paulsen, Hank Paulsen, Earl Haddock, Larry Kollbaum, Merlin Kollman, Arlyn Sands, Gary Michener. Interment was in Peiro-Bethel Cemetery rural Anthon, Iowa.

Arrangements were by Armstrong Funeral Service, Anthon, Iowa.
