Elvina Andersen, age 84, of Harlan, Iowa, died on Friday, October 7, 1988 at the Myrtue Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Royl ; seven daughters, Henrietta (Mrs. Wayne) Heningsen, Ardell (Mrs. Elvin) Andersen and Marilyn Bennett all of Atlantic, Iowa; Lavina Weiss of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Verkee (Mrs. Dale) Andersen of Exira, Iowa, Lynn Andersen of Harlan, Iowa, and Kay (Mrs. Gene) Elmquist of Mapleton, Iowa; four sons, Donald Hansen and Harold Andersen, both of Walnut, Iowa; Norma Andersen of Harlan, Iowa and Merle Hansen of Brayton; thirty-four grandchildren and sixty five great grandchildren.

Services were held on Monday, October 10, 1988 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan, Iowa. The burial was in the Jacksonville Cemetery.
