Mrs. Margaret Adams a resident of Blencoe for the past 35 years passed away Thursday, November 27 at the Onawa hospital. Mrs. Adams had been ill only a short time having entered the hospital on Wednesday of last week. She was born in Harrison County, Iowa, on June 15, 1890 and was 63 years of age at the time of her passing. She was united in marriage with Albert Adams on December 20, 1905. She was a member of the Christian Church at Mondamin, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Albert , two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Heineman of Blencoe; Mrs. Viola Meeker of Onawa, three sons Charles of Escalon, California; Franklin and Albert Jr. both of Blencoe; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Goulding Sr., San Francisco, California, Mrs. Nellie Hanscom of Mondamin, Iowa; brothers, Floyd Stansberry and Paul Stansberry both of Mondamin, Iowa and Chas Stansberry, South Sioux City, Nebraska; 18 grandchildren; a number of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 1, 1953 at the Congregational church in Blencoe with Ray Barney Crockett and Everett Epperson officiating.

Bearers were Gordon Rock, Hugh Gray, Sr., Clifford Cartmell, Dall Mobley and Robert Comfort.

Interment was in the Blencoe Cemetery with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa, Iowa.
