J.E. Miller Passes Away

Whiting, Iowa-- May 14, 1901
J.E. Miller, died at the home of his son Thad, one mile south of town, Friday night. May 10th, 1901. He was seemingly well and all right, but was taken sick suddenly and died of heart failure.

Mr Miller was 74 years of age and was a man well respected by all who knew him and his sons Thad and Florence have the sympathy of many friends in their sorrow.

The funeral services were held at the home Sunday at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. D. McSkimming and the remains laid to rest in the Whiting Cemetery.
