Onawa, Iowa—Albert P Hanson, 82, of Onawa died Sunday at an Onawa hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ Congregational, Onawa. The Rev. William Bessmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery under direction of the Pearson Funeral home of Onawa.

Mr. Hanson was born April 8, 1896 in Poland, Ohio. He married Esther Simonson October 27, 1917 in Hettinger, N.D.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Onawa and Elk Lodge 586 in Moorhead.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Vernon of Albany, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Claude (Anne) Outhouse of Moorhead and Mrs. Alvina Evenson of Soldier; two brothers, Lennox of Little Sioux and Elmer of Dows, and two granddaughters.
